International Promotional Centre «Star» was founded in 2009 and since that time has proved to be a reliable partner in the organization of top-level professional sporting events.
Promotional Centre “Star” works in cooperation with all the leading promo-companies, professional leagues and clubs in Russia, the USA, European and Asian countries: ”Kings of Muay Thai”, WPFL, WNK, ILMMA, WMC, FKR and many others.
Promotional Centre “Star” is a member “Bushido Pro” Combat Sports Organizations Alliance.
All the events organized by the promotional centre are broadcasted by such Russian and foreign TV-channels as “REN-TV”, “Boec”, “Russia-2”, “Russian Extreme”, “Eurosport-2” and many others.
At the moment Promotional Centre “Star” is launching a new project “Star of the Victory”. The first show of this series of sporting events took place on March 8, 2010 and was titled “United Russia vs. Asian Select Team”. Ten World Champions from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Thailand, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the tournament.
In the meantime Promotional Centre «Star» organized a professional super tournament in striking full contact martial arts, where the first old school Muay-Boran championship in Russia took place. Old school rules imply fighting without gloves with ropes on hands.
The founders of the International Promotional Centre «Star» are Oleg Taktarov, Igor Jijikine (the star of Russian and American cinematography), Sergey Shostakov and Dmitry Sviridov.
